The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, weaving together the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who are drawn to a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a violent opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death initiated the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of the city, with Cyd pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and advises that it is a nasty place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their position as important members in House Halovar could assist the group access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to travel to Timmony in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Explorers and Planners parties.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which characters will be where in the season’s last Overture episode, streaming live on next week.
